MUBI is showing the Werner Herzog retrospective L'absolu, le sublime et la vérité from May 18 - December 22, 2017 in France.

After accepting the Le Carrosse d'Or award from the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes, we had the chance to sit down with the master for an expansive conversation concerning his recent works, the ongoing evolution of cinema, and the apocalypse.
