For the release of Ryuichi Sakamoto: Coda on MUBI, we have partnered with the video essay channel ScreenPrism to produce a new video exploring their take on the role music has in film through the soundtracks of the great Japanese composer, including his music for Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, The Last Emperor, and The Revenant.
