"The Big" List

Many of my favorite films start with “The Big” and are subsequently followed by one single word.

Inexcusably missing from database:

The Big Trail (1930 Raoul Walsh)
The Big Steal (1949 Don Siegel)
The Big Sky (1952 Howard Hawks)

“The Big” BLANK is a great title structure that fits both metaphors of death (The Big Sleep/The Big Chill) and the open range of Westerns (The Big Sky, The Big Trail, The Big Country) or just sounds badass enough for great film noirs or heist films (The Big Heat, The Big Combo, The Big Steal, The Big Knife).
