Social Media/Marketing Coordinator, France

Full Time, Paris
MUBI is a curated movie streaming platform reaching a community of 10 million film lovers around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and assist with social media management and coordination of marketing initiatives, including digital media and promotional activations, focusing on both awareness and customer acquisition. You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working in close collaboration with global counterparts to build awareness and full growth of MUBI in France.

  • Manage MUBI’s organic social media presence in France across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, helping to adapt the brand identity and social voice of MUBI for the local market and maintaining an engaged and active relationship with followers
  • Build a large, engaged, and loyal community of followers for each platform, showing steady growth in volume and engagement over time
  • Establish and maintain organized calendar/schedule for posts and content development
  • Analyze and evaluate quality of social content, posting strategy, and consumer engagement, providing regular performance reports/assessment to the larger team 
  • Conceptualize creative assets, both video and design, to be leveraged across both organic and paid social channels 
  • Assist in delivery of high-performing assets for paid media campaigns and coordinate asset delivery across various partner relationships
  • Liaise with key social media influencers to amplify MUBI’s brand presence in collaboration with global brand team
  • Support local programming initiatives through designated campaigns aimed to promote and elevate MUBI’s curation and content
  • Assist with execution of additional promotions/campaigns to maximize subscriber acquisition and increase brand exposure
Who you are:
  • An expert and passionate film lover with in-depth knowledge of French cinema and international arthouse and independent films
  • Highly tech-savvy digital enthusiast
  • Native French speaker and fluent in English 
  • Fast-learner who is eager to dive into tasks and thrives in a fast-paced culture
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Creative-thinker willing to look beyond easy answers to find the best solution to any problem
  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in an unstructured environment
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • 1-3 years of related marketing/social media experience
  • Experience managing social media for a brand or organization
  • Expert understanding of trends in the ever-changing digital/media landscape 
  • Ability to determine KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly
  • Comfortable using Photoshop/Premiere
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
