A terrible, pathetic attempt to revitalize the X-Men franchise. Many of the cast are flatly miscast or saddled with characters who are non-entities. Of all of them, I feel most bad for Oscar Isaac, who is stuck with a villain who has no depth or complexity & is literally buried under days, maybe weeks, worth of makeup. I can only assume his agent went missing under mysterious circumstances after the movie wrapped.
Felt less like a movie and more like reading 200 comics in a single furious session with only energy drinks and incessant sneezing from the mold on the flat and tired pages that no matter how much happens inevitably becomes uninteresting because the characters reek of quick cheap writing and sameness so I care less about the plots and more about how tired JLaw seems and I can't believe they kept Psylocke's outfit.
Tremendo.
Apocalipse' s characterization is ridiculous seriously , what the hell was that? He was looking like a big Hasbro Toy, so artificial and fake! they could have done something better with cgi and special effects. The only scene which is worth watching is the one with Fenix helping Xavier.
