Our take

Truffaut’s second adaptation of a Henri-Pierre Roché literary work, Two English Girls exploring love’s many dualities: between intellectual and physical love; between joy and pain. Jean-Pierre Léaud delicately embodies the figure of the romantic dandy, torn between two English sisters.
