THE MASTERS OF TIME

Piel, the young son of a space traveler, is left behind on the planet Perdide, where huge and hungry hornets roam. Jaffar, Piel’s father’s friend, abandons an important mission to rescue the child, with the help of an old sailor and two dwarves who communicate by telepathy.

While less well-known than Fantastic Voyage, René Laloux’s second Stefan Wul adaptation is just as mind-bending. Illustrated by none other than the legendary cartoonist Mœbius, this mesmerizing rescue mission in a savage galaxy juxtaposes childhood innocence with the thrills of adventure.
