Our take

This debut film by Régis Wargnier (Indochine), starring Jane Birkin and Louis Trintignant, follows the tempo of the tense strings of a violinist, entangled in a passionate and tumultuous romance. With melodic vigour and erotic zest, The Woman of My Life is a head-spinning thrill.
