A smooth journey near the last quarter section. However, the story had some unusual bumps till that and the sketchy' probably directionless. But I loved the poem in celluloid. The Actress made superb image, whereas the lead actor had been too stiff, probably having less creativity out of the script.
Mediocre.
A committed exposition of fatalism, filmed and acted with unusual assurance. Given the restrained conviction of the protagonist, destined events such as her presence in the bank at the time of the robbery, and the filling station being the one where the accident occurred do not draw a special reaction from her. She always knew her mate freed from his inner, suffering doppelganger. Who was he, she asks at the end.
Sissi is like crack. Everyone in her life needs her, or there are consequences. No one can resist her charms, except of course for Bodo. He's on a self-destructive mission. They have a little adventure, but then the movie shifts into fantasy for some reason. He did something similar in Heaven. He is a great technical director, but I think he has issues with endings. 'Lola' and 'Cloud Atlas' were all about endings.
a lovely psycho-melodrama from Twyker. I found it moving and powerful, with some real tension, Twyker is good at the coincidence and parallel realities and this kind of relates to Run Lola run but does its own thing and does leave you guessing. Likeable characters too which always helps
