Synopsis
Somewhere in Eastern Galicia, in the early forties. Elias, seven, his brother Schmulek, and Mandeleh, both ten, spend most of their time by a lake, ricocheting and bickering. Schmulek is the leader of the gang and Elias is his dead man … Until Elias discovers the body of a rabbi floating.
