Our take

At the heart of Andrea Segre’s fiction film, which returns to the migrant crisis that preoccupied his earlier work, lies a man torn between his job and his conscience. Paolo Pierobon excels as the thwarted protagonist in this drawn-from-life drama about borders, human rights, and identity crisis.
