Our take

The director—a Harvard Sensory Ethnography Lab alumnae—traverses the porous boundaries between fiction and ethnography in this hallucinatory short. In the shadow of the hit show Dynasty, the film gives way to a retelling of a near-death experience, raising questions about narrative unreliability.
