Our take

Narrowing and sustaining focus to its protagonist’s gradual enlightening, Israel’s Eran Riklis follows up his celebrated The Syrian Bride with The Human Resources Manager. At times a subtle, attentive character study, and elsewhere a strikingly eccentric comedy.
