Ratings & Reviews

  1. Xiang Li's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Essentially externalise and physicalise the pain of love. Simple and beautiful.

  2. marcel marx's rating of the film Summer Vacation

It's not less intense than a full length movie. The tension starts from the beginning and never diminishes until the end. It's excellent to succeed it in 20 minutes. Enviable job to be honest...

  3. Juan's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Quizá debiera durar todavía menos esta obvia historia.

  4. Santiago Delgado's rating of the film Summer Vacation

The colour palette is amazing, especially in the beach! Also the sex frames have the perception of being a paiting. I did like much the very tense moments the short has!

  5. Carambotti's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Is it possible to say that a short film should be slowed down some, to capture the full essence of a moment on a beach? Here, a cell phone is a plot device.

  6. Greg Shields's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Painful, painful, but worth the watch. Caught this on Film Movement. A study of human relationships, not much culture highlighted.

  7. tsamaroden's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Maybe the worst family vacation ever! Good acting and nice cinematography. Great ending.

  8. Maarten's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Excellent short with a very strong cast, love passion and intrigue.

  11. captainfez's rating of the film Summer Vacation

    Mental note: change ringtone.

  12. Crina Cătălina Bucur's rating of the film Summer Vacation

(3.5) Good short, with just enough tension.

  13. Funda Can Çuvalcı's rating of the film Summer Vacation

I think tension has been built up well from the beginning till the end. Unexpected twists -including the title of the film- have made the plot interesting.

  14. fearraigh's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Unusually for a short film, it is paced and structured very like a short story. It occasionally lurks into predictable territory before then surprising again. A modest but accomplished short.

  15. Angus George Alexander Brown's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Tense and excruciating. The two sex scenes are totally unnecessary considering the film is only twenty-two minutes long.

  16. Klara's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Emotionally intense like someone blowing up a balloon beyond it's limits and you're sitting there all tense and waiting for it to explode. Really good short film.

  17. msmichel's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Excellent short from Maymon/Granit concerning a family man on a beach vacation suddenly coming into contact with an ex-lover whose existence is unknown to his wife. Playful but with a sense of danger the short packs a lot into 22 minutes. The use of Clem Snide's song 'Your Favourite Music' is sublime. Well acted by the 3 leads especially Yiftach Klein (Policeman) who is phenomenal here.

  18. paulo.albu's rating of the film Summer Vacation

A great short movie. Very nice.

  19. sahandmohajer's rating of the film Summer Vacation

a good short film. a little superficial but worth a watch.

  20. Bilan's rating of the film Summer Vacation

great short film how a short film must be

  21. panagiotatos's rating of the film Summer Vacation

7/10, so much in such a short time!

  22. Felipe Villegas's rating of the film Summer Vacation

Ojalá todos los cortos fueran así de intensos

  23. Aube James's rating of the film Summer Vacation

No deep thought required yet no superficiality here either. Sexy film with great facial expressions. The premise: a ghost of smitten past. What felt contrived is the protruding nail on the window frame. Talk about an unsafe family resort.

  24. Hans Berglund's rating of the film Summer Vacation

I thougth at first he had saturated the love of his life in the water. A very god film with an open ending. Gonna watch it again.
