Summer, 1996. In a small community in South West China. An 8-year-old boy tries to capture the thief responsible for stealing his grandma’s bike and enters the moral quandary for the first time.

Relationships, hopes, and bonds of brotherhood between three generations of families. Director You Xing tells his story in a simple and unhurried way so that we get to know each of his characters intimately. The film won the Asian Future Best Film Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2019.
