Spinning a delicate web from the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Lotte Reiniger’s short silhouette animation film is a delightful interpretation of the hallowed realms of enchanted sleep. The bewitching effects of her cut-outs combine with a voice-over, giving the feel of a story at bedtime.
