Our take

Cinematic wordplay—and image play—in service of a gag, this playful miniature from Peter Tscherkassky certainly doesn’t want for brevity. A mere 22 seconds long, Shot-Countershot reconfigures a gunfight from an old western for the avant-garde equivalent of a one-liner.
