Critics reviews

Over the course of One Night of Love, Moore gets to perform from Carmen and Madame Butterfly, and sing Pestalozza’s merry “Ciribiribin.” But she’s also charming off-stage, whether sparring with her mentor and eventual love interest, Monteverdi, or playfully faking a case of laryngitis. If she never appears completely comfortable in front of the camera, at least her occasional stiffness feels appropriate for the role of an insecure diva on the rise.
