Our take

An epistolary film of sorts, this elegant chronicle makes sumptuous use of voice-over and black and white cinematography to draw a lyrical picture of the everyday operations of a Cuban post office. With a lightness of touch and emotional warmth, it is an original and enchanting wonder.
