Star of Xavier Dolan’s Heartbeats, Monia Chokri made her directorial debut with this charmingly verbose comedy about two siblings who can’t stay out of each other’s pockets. Codependency and a lack of self-worth are just some of the obstacles on the protagonist’s rocky road to happiness.
