KALYANARAMAN

When wealthy but humble Kalyanaram falls prey to a vicious killer who is after his money, his brother (also played by Kamal Hassan) takes matters into his own hands and sets out to get revenge.

With Kamal Haasan in a rather unusual double role and Sridevi more than matching his performances, this supernatural comedy makes for an immensely engrossing watch. Loosely inspired by Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands, this wonderful drama is bolstered by Ilaiyaraaja’s catchy tunes.
