Our take

This genre-defying debut from Hugo Santiago was considered lost until its rediscovery in 2004. At once a dystopian political sci-fi and an avant-garde thriller that mirrored the rise of the dictatorship in Argentina, Invasión was co-written by the dream-weaving literary master, Jorge Luis Borges.
