Our take

In Haze, Tayfun Pirselimoğlu jettisons his typically aloof and disillusioned protagonist into the depths of the Istanbul ghetto. Taking an unflinching look at marginalized peoples, the Turkish master creates evocative images that echo the unheard stories in the forgotten corners of this megacity.
