The fictionalized biography of M., a film-freak. On account of two consecutive retinal detachments, he becomes almost totally blind. During 40 bed-ridden days, he is obliged to lie prone with both eyes closed.

What does it mean for cinephiles to lose their sight? This touching tragicomedy takes on the question in darkly hilarious autofictional form, drawing on co-director Melik Saraçoglu’s own experiences of blindness to craft a filmic celebration of the power of overcoming personal challenges.
