Our take

Inspired by a true story that occurred in a village in the north of Portugal, this enigmatic short film centres on a man’s expiatory journey by foot of through the forest, just after he commits murder. Director Ico Costa’s first feature follows the same premise and premiered in Rotterdam last month!
