Our take

It’s fascinating to watch Alex Gibney’s searing investigation of Enron’s corporate malfeasance in the years following the 2008 economic crash. What once looked like a historic reckoning, now feels terrifyingly prophetic. Methodical and damning, it’s one of the great documentarian’s very best films.
