Our take

A cornucopia of ambitiously grotesque and sublime imagery invades Jodorowsky’s second autobiographical film. Covering the period in which the young man leaves home in search of bohemian self-expression, this Felliniesque escapade explores the mythic struggles of the artist to find their voice.
