Synopsis

Our take
Viennese filmmaker Peter Kern’s biopic charts the youth of the subversive figure of Domenica, a German sex worker who rose to fame to defend sex workers’ rights and the acceptance of sadomasochism. The real Domenica also intermittently appears in the film, while Andréa Ferréol stars as her mother.
