Our double bill on the feminist Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh opens with a drama which established his eye for stories exploring gender politics. Featuring Rituparna Sengupta and Indrani Haldar, Dahan offers a moving glimpse at the claustrophobic private and public lives of urban Indian women.
