A provocative early feature by François Ozon, and one of his most extreme tales, Criminal Lovers mixes the lovers-on-the-run genre with fairy tale elements, with a large dollop of cannibalism, torture, and lust! Made in the era of Larry Clark’s Kids and Bully, it is by turns chilling and sexy.
