Based loosely on the 16th century historical document entitled ‘The Malay Annals’. An action-packed epic feature film, with mythical characters, magical moments and dazzling visual-effects sequences. Merong Mahawangsa was a descendant of Alexander the Great.

A loose adaptation of the eponymous 18th-century text, this is KRU Studios’ most ambitious work. A powerful and charismatic Stephen Rahman-Hughes leads the charge through massive battle scenes featuring hundreds of extras, in an action spectacular which won Best Film at the Malaysia Film Festival.
