Our take

A philosophical romcom of midlife neurosis, Henry Jaglom’s improvised wonder features a tremendous central turn from Karen Black. Intimate and uninhibited, it’s a great New York movie from a true iconoclast of American independent cinema. Look out for a bouffant-wielding appearance from Larry David!
