Our take

The debut feature from Greek-Canadian filmmaker Panos Cosmatos—who broke through in 2018 with his outrageous Mandy—this stylish sci-fi horror was a promising glimpse of what was to come. A hypnotic, highly-aestheticized visual feast and self-described “trance film,” synced to a sleek synth score.
