  1. OFF_FRAME's rating of the film Anne at 13,000 ft

Deragh Campbell encapsulates perfectly all of the anxiety and awkwardness of a square peg struggling to find their place in life due to emotional and likely developmental problems that she seems to have struggled with for a long time. On that level the film is to be commended and has similarities to System Crasher yet here the frenetic camera work undoes much of the nuance by forcing claustrophobia and mania. 3 stars

  2. Renton47's rating of the film Anne at 13,000 ft

It is a welcome change for a 'difficult person' indie to foreground the difficulty in some clear diagnosis the audience remains unaware of, rather than the usual immature barriers to burgeoning responsibility. There were a few simmering tensions (incl. the skydiving) that I quite liked, they were just drowned in the visual noise of a chaotic style. The paralleled invasive close-ups and frenzied editing are a lot 2.5
