The spirit of Fleabag pervades this booze-fueled comedy about the transition of a friendship from youth to adulthood. Led by wonderfully complementary performances by Alia Shawkat and Holliday Granger, Animals offers a portrait of millennial womanhood that is equally melancholy and funny.
