Chilean film maestro Miguel Littin transforms the last hours of Salvador Allende into an urgent and atmospherically tense chamber piece. Daniel Muñoz is magisterial as the honorable president under attack, bringing out the many sides of Allende with a palpable ferocity and lyrical tenderness.
