Our take

Amid kneaded dough, sweet curls of pastry, and clouds of flour, two women share the precious bond of companionship in an otherwise hard and patriarchal world. Nisrine Arradi and Lubna Azabal (Incendies) shine in this warm, naturalistic two-hander, Moroccan director Maryam Touzani’s radiant debut.
