Our take

A screwball rom-com from Belgian auteur Chantal Akerman? You’re in for a treat. Featuring an endearing, breezy performance by screen icon Juliette Binoche, A Couch in New York lovingly tackles the side effects of expatriation while revisiting the key elements of the genre to compelling effect.
