MUBI,​ ​Delivering​ ​European​ ​Cinema​ ​Globally

Over the years, MUBI, the curated online SVOD platform, has been championing hidden gems, forgotten classics and talented directors. Our goal has always been to be the online destination for film lovers across the globe to discover, watch and discuss the best of cinema.

MUBI offers a wide selection of films – from cult classics and masterpieces by established auteurs to fresh festival titles from emerging world talent. With the support of Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme of the European Union, MUBI will continue its mission to broaden reach and global audience by creating various access points to increase the accessibility and discoverability of European films online, and bolster MUBI’s longstanding commitment to European cinema.

The objectives of this ongoing project are to:

1. Promote the expansion of MUBI GO to new markets
2. Rebooting our streaming offer by opening up our library of titles, which expanded access to more content
3. Providing new access points to the platform for discovery of European titles by executing more local partnerships outside of the UK and US, and exploring new channels
4. Expanding our European cinema offer globally

MUBI has highlighted the work of filmmakers like Angela Schanelec, Jonas Mekas, Céline Sciamma, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Eugène Green and many more (to come!).
