[IMMA] 'Using experimental narratives, Jenny Brady’s film works explore ideas around translation, communication and the limitations of language, whilst slowing down our experience of looking at and listening to the moving image. Her works attempt to find potential mutualities between disparate subjects, both human and non-human, through abstract video portraits in which animals often appear as troubling figures of mistranslation.'
