“The first cinema experience I remember was the Sunday matinee my mother was watching, and we watched the film "Vuk samotnjak" in which our friend Slavko Štimac debuted. This smell of slightly sloping chairs, the scent of scaly kernels mixed with the smoky cigarette smoked cigar fathers watching the children's movie in the only real Partizan movie theater in my hometown and the feeling of watching the color film on the big canvas were completely submerged under the skin.”
