“When I was 14/15 years old, I thought I'd become a biologist or something like that. I was a keen on BBC Wildlife that played on TV every weekend. That's how I started practicing my voyeuristic side, I reckon. As I became older I moved on to a more conscious cinema, one that would reflect people and its society. Then, I got closer to art-house cinema and the 'good' mainstream cinema, so to speak.”
